Eye Examinations
It’s hard to overstate the importance of regular eye examinations to ensure optimal vision and ocular health. We want to see you seeing perfectly! The Ontario College of Optometry recommends the following frequency of examinations:
| 3 – 19 years: | Once every year (covered by OHIP) |
| 20 – 64 years: | At least once every two years |
| 65+: | Once every year (covered by OHIP) |
| Diabetic patients: | Must have an eye exam once every year (covered by OHIP) |
After an initial examination, the optometrist will schedule regular checkups for you at a pace that meets your eye-care needs.
